I managed to catch some live bait this afternoon,small menhaden,anchored up just outside of a canal,flounder were biting!

Cape Fear Fishing
Water temperatures have warmed up local piers in the Southport area have reported catches of king mackerel this past week. I have been catching some three to five pound black drum along the Cape Fear River,small blues are biting at the rock wall jetty at Wrightsville Beach,with some Spanish mackerel starting to show up on the nearshore artificial reefs.
